My Vision for Bulimba

Strong Passionate Leadership

I am convinced that there are several ideas that if enacted could make our community better and allow us to thrive. As your MP, I would offer the community fresh strong people first leadership. As part of that process, I would develop an online platform that would allow locals to suggest ideas, and vote on initiatives directly from their phones in seconds to seek input on our future community vision.

People love living in the Bulimba electorate. As a local for twenty one years, I remember helping to fill bags with sand alongside members of our community during the 2010–11 Queensland floods. There is indeed a strong community spirit here, but from my conversations with locals there is also a feeling that our lifestyle has gotten worse over the years. I believe that beyond state wide policy, our electorate needs strong leadership that puts a priority on delivering resources and funding for local projects to help us get back what we lost.

Passionate, Ethical, God-Fearing, Hard Working & Independent

Your Independent Voice.

I will adopt the ethical and unbiased approach that has served me well in the business world and throughout my career, and I will continue to retain my independence from the major political parties to ensure that you get put first and not the interests of a big political party.

I am the only candidate in this race that has pledged to not accept political donations from the banks, the interest groups, the lobbyists and big international corporations. When I say I am an Independent, I don’t just mean from political parties: I also mean I am Independent from vested interest groups that use political donations to get their needs met by government at the cost of yours.

A Little Of My Story

Former Small Business Owner & Elected To Serve As A Vice President Of A Union

The business I run and founded was a news media business that focused on discussing American politics during the 2016 US. Presidential election. My story in business was that I was able to turn something that I am passionate about (politics) into a business that generated adverting revenue over half a million in a year and a small six figure profit.

My union experience came when I was studying an arts degree focused on political science and studies in religion at the University of Queensland and put my name forward to stand for one of the several Vice Presidents of UQ Union. I was elected to this position, where I acted in a part time role to coordinate between the different UQ campuses.

I learned a lot from these two experiences, and I am confident that the skills I have learned throughout my career will enable me to be effective at my role, and able to deliver results for you.

Home Life

Family Is Very Important To Me

Outside of work and the community I enjoy spending my time at home with my family. If I am not at work I can usually be found spending time with my girlfriend or hanging out with my mates.

To be honest, I truly feel that politics is the reason that God put me on this earth. I often work 10 to 12 hour days on topics related to politics because I get so much fulfilment from helping people.

While I don’t have children, I do look forward to starting a family of my own in the next few years! Family is very important to me.
